The documentary deals with the realities of the Christian flight from Lebanon. In 30 years Christians, through economic hardship and the rise of Muslim fundamentalism, have left Lebanon, the cradle of Christianity, falling from a majority of over 50% to 45% of the population. The result for the Church is dramatic and threatens its very presence and position not only within Lebanese society, but also the missionary activity for which the Lebanese Church is famous throughout the Middle East. Despite this, there is a remarkable flourishing of vocations to the priesthood and religious life in both male and female, Catholic and Orthodox congregations giving hope to the local Church.
